Rum Chata Snickerdoodle Martini

Rum Chata Snickerdoodle Martini

As you start to follow more and more of my posts, you will find that I always have to have a specialty cocktail for every get together or party that I have. Nothing says that you care about your guests quite the way a specialty cocktail does.  Of course you have to have the good food and company to go along with it, but a specialty cocktail just gets the night off to a great start! This was the perfect specialty cocktail for us ladies on New Years Eve!  It had the perfect components…the sweet, the creamy, the decadence….the alcohol!  It is for sure a dessert like drink as it is like drinking a Snickerdoodle cookie in a martini glass!  The stand out in the martini was for sure the Rum Chata, which is a splendid mixture of Caribbean rums, cream, cinnamon, vanilla and other wonderful flavors.  Make sure you place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice so the martini is ice cold!  Our Rum Chata Snickerdoodle Martini’s were sipped heavenly by a beautiful fire while we played board games with kiddos later in the evening on New Years Eve!  No need to wait until next New Years Eve to sip this cocktail…a Rum Chata Snickerdoodle Martini will make a perfect Saturday night by the fire winter drink!
